Calder Tinkers in Manray's Darkroom

The inspiration for my Body of Work came from the techniques employed by the artists Manray and Alexander Calder. The images combine photographic negatives and 'drawings with light'. They were initiated by constructing a wire sculpture that became transformed by light and shadow. Layering and repetition were important structural devices.
