I became intrigued by the dream state after becoming interested in Salvador Dali's art. In the Christmas holidays I began to keep a journal of my dreams which led to the concept for my artwork, which is intended to represent an obscure form of justice given by the tormented shark. For the 2D segment of the animation, I drew each frame individually, using the same sheet of paper and rubbing out and redrawing parts for each frame, inspired by William Kentridge's art making process. For the 3D part of the animation, I used a program called 3D Studio Max, which I had learnt to use after developing an interest in 3D animation.
