The Restaurant Opening in May 2003, this splendid restaurant provides for over 100 diners and possesses a scenic ante-bar / reception area. The Restaurant is fully licensed and the wine list accommodates all by the glass. The combined talents of executive chef John McFadden and the event operations team service the in-house requirements of the Art Gallery of New South Wales & Art Gallery Society whilst providing a wide spectrum of commercial events for benefactors, exhibition sponsors and corporate clientele. Cocktail Events for 1500 are common to most openings and sit-down dinners in excess of 350 guests are comfortably catered in the Grand Court. Audiences for conferences and lectures can be catered in either the dedicated function space adjoining the Restaurant or breakout locations adjoining the Domain Theatre.
