One permanent and two temporary positions
(one part-time, 2-3 days per week)

The Art Gallery of NSW is seeking to fill three Gallery Officer positions.

Duties

Provide assistance to Gallery visitors, respond to emergencies to protect visitors, staff and the collection.

Salary package

Valued at up to $59,195 p.a including base salary ($41,585 - $42,615), plus an annual allowance of $11,409 to $11,692 for weeknight/weekend and public holiday penalties and employer’s contribution to superannuation.

Selection criteria

• Must possess a current Class 1 (a) and (c) Security Licence.  
• High standard of personal presentation. 
• Excellent oral communication, initiative and team work skills.
• Ability to lift objects, climb stairs and stand for long periods.
• Good observation skills and an ability to remain alert with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a customer-service role.
• Ability to work a seven-day roster including Wednesday nights, weekends and overtime on a regular basis.
