Most of Art Gallery of NSW website (and the satellite sites www.artafterhours.com.au, www.gallerykids.com.au, www.insideartexpress.com.au and www.thearchibaldprize.com.au) are powered by MySource, an open source* Content Management System (CMS) created by Squiz.net. MySource also powers the Art Gallery's email newsletters, such as Artmail and Art After Hours.

The Gallery Shop pages appear in a separate, smaller window, also powered by MySource.

Online exhibition tickets sales are made on a standalone website, powered by Centaman.

Online event ticket sales pages are powered by an e-commerce package managed by the Art Gallery Society of NSW.

The browse/search interface of the Collection runs on a specialised CMS developed by Vernon Systems.

The Research Library catalogue and Art Prizes database are web-enabled databases, running on a separate server. 

The Lloyd Rees Sketchbooks website is currently a series of static HTML pages.
